Nami has been friends with Ryouku since they were children. But ever since they watched a kiss scene on TV, Ryoku became a ''kissing monster''. After entering middle school, Nami is getting confused wondering what kind of relationship she has with him.

A collection of short stories. Story 1: Ordinary Chie is always being overlooked for her extremely beautiful friend Mika. Will someone ever notice her? Story 2: Mizuho is in love with Shugo-sempai, and even manages to kiss him secretly under the cover of darkness. Only one problem. Shugo is the boyfriend of Mizuho's older sister! Story 3: Aya is still a high school student. There is no way she is going to attend an Omiai (matchmaking) meeting with some strange guy! No matter how great this Keisuke guy seems to be... Story 4: Manami is always teased by her classmates for being ugly. Only Satoru-kun defends her. In fact, he declares he loves her! But this world is so cruel... they will have to find another world to live in!  

I really like the first and second stories in this collection.  First story would be 9/10.  I kind of have an issue with the second story because the older sister dies in the beginning and then her sister and boyfriend get together.  I personally wouldn't be able to but it is a pretty good story irregardless.  The art isn't the greatest but it has a unique quality to it that I like.  The last story is very brief, only 19 pages, but defiantly an uncommon cute story.  An added bonus! :)  You can find it @   http://manga.animea.net/hikitateyaku-no-koi.html

This manga makes me smile every time I read it. :)  It has three oneshots, all incredibly cute!!  If I had to rank them, I would say that it would run from Chapter 2 Room in Sunlight, Chapter 1 Apple-Cheeked Love, Then Chapter 3 24th Christmas.  The collection as a whole ranks 10/10.

A girl tries an old charm to get her crush.  It is a sweet little oneshot.  Probably ranks a 7 on a 10 pt scale.

Bitter Virgin

Bitter Virgin is probably my all time favorite manga.  Written from the point of view of a ladykiller high school boy, this manga is a refreshing change from the typical "love@first sight, happily ever after romance."  Our protagonist hears of the traumatic past of one of his classmates and tries to develop a friendship with her and protect her from his psycho self-proclaimed girlfriend.  It was kind of the manga that started it all for me.  The subject matter gets VERY heavy and there are issues like rape and abortion.  It doesn't exactly fall into the category of shoujo but it is definitely romance. :)
